PokeNav 1.6.0 - Pokedex and Counters

This update brings pokédex support to PokeNav. Specifically, the ability to lookup movesets and attributes for Pokémon and both generic and personalized raid counters. I hope it helps our trainers be more effective in tackling new raid bosses.

1.6.0

Pokédex

  • Internal support for the newest game data pulled from the game master file.

  • Added support for all known legacy movesets.

$pokedex / $dex command

  • Display a Pokédex page for the pokémon, with anything you might want to know and more:
    • MAX CP at various levels
    • Gender Rates
    • Buddy Distance
    • Movesets
    • Base Stats
    • Capture and Flee Rates
  • Tap the title of the page to link directly to Gamepress’s Pokédex, where you can check out the details.

$counters command

  • Counters for any known or past raid boss.

  • Counters are provided by Pokebattler, so the results are world class.

  • Go directly to the detailed simulation results by tapping the title.

  • Accepts a pokémon name and optionally, the current in-game weather and will let you know the top six unique Pokemon (and their best moveset):

  • To get personalized recommendations, link your Pokebattler user id in your trainer profile and ask PokeNav for counters in a DM:

Trainer Profile

  • You can now link your Pokebattler user id with your trainer profile to get custom recommendations:

Raid Coordination

  • Raid summary has been updated a bit to accomodate counters, which are now automatically sent to the raid channel and pinned at raid start:

  • Using the counters command inside a raid party will assume the current raid boss, so you don’t have to re-type it. Handy for asking for counters in weather:

  • All raid channel names have been shortened to start with raid instead of raid-party.

  • Fixed a bug where you could accidently add PokeNav as a member of the raid.

  • Bot will now immediately remove your reaction when joining a raid, attempting to keep the count at 1:

Moderation

  • Moderators now have the ability to selectively enable channels for either Raid or EX Raids (or both).

  • Moderators now have a flag where they can restrict setting raid status to moderators only.

    • By default, status can be set by anyone in the raid.

Other

  • Certain commands may now be used outside of a server, by DMing PokeNav directly, currently these are $pokedex, $counters, $map and $help.

  • Minor text fixes.

Special Thanks

I want to offer special thanks to Pokebattler, for furnishing counters for the PokeNav. I personally use this tool a lot, and you should considering heading over there and supporting them on Patreon. A small donation gets you access to their Pokebox feature, which will let you setup your best counters and help you get the best rewards next time you face off against a new raid boss.

Thank you CalicoStoneWolf for the type icons.

Thank you to MiichelleErin for pointing out errata in the help docs and for working to setup PokeNav in her discord community!

Thanks to the Bucks-Mont Pokemon Go discord group for assisting with confirming the Pokedex flavor text.
